The Middle East is a region where automobile is king and fuel is inexpensive, frequently leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving around.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the issue of finding alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, already their client-list contains McDonald's.
